With only 450,000 Proof Silver Eagles minted in 1998, by the Philadelphia Mint, it is no wonder why so many collectors and investors decide to invest the Proof Silver Eagle series. Displaying the same historic design as the Brilliant Uncirculated eagles, the Proof Silver Eagles offer a more mirror-like finish than the frosted matte BU finish. Since proof finishing coin is both time consuming and expensive, there is a very limited number of proof coins minted each year. One of the key reasons a coin is considered valuable is when it has a low mintage. Investing in certified low mintage coins increases the coin's overall numismatic value while simultaneously preserving the coin in an airtight certified holder.
Your Certified Proof Silver Eagle PF69 1998 sparkles with a "freshly minted" luster that will stand out in any coin collection. Your coin is also certified and its luster is protected by an airtight holder issued by NGC. The Lady Liberty, on the obverse, stands tall and proud, yet displays a tenderness at the same time. This popular design of the Lady comes from the famous design by Adolph A. Weinman.
