The American Silver Eagle collection was first produced in 1986, as well as the Proof Silver Eagles. Although the lovely matte finish, of the Brilliant Uncirculated eagles, is hard to beat and the unlimited amount minted yearly is easy to obtain, the Proof Silver Eagles are usually overlooked. Since the finishing process, of the proof coins, takes longer and is more expensive, Proof Silver Eagles are sold for a higher bid and also contain very limited mintages. A little over 600,000 Proof Silver Eagles were minted in 2000 and a small amount were actually sent to become certified. Certified Proof Silver Eagles are becoming more difficult to find, due to their dramatic increase in popularity over the years.
Your Certified Proof Silver Eagle PF69 2000 has an impeccable proof finish that is preserved in an official NGC holder that is airtight. Your coin also earned the high grade, PF69.

-Obverse: The obverse reveals the delicate protector of liberty and freedom, Lady Liberty. She stands tall in a loose robe that is slightly hugging her feminine figure and her shoulders are gently draped with the American flag. One arm holds a bundle of branches, while the other is outstretched and inviting to all. Her name is etched above her portrait, with the rising sun slowly approaching from behind her. "In God We Trust," is written next to the Walking Liberty and the coin's date of mintage is included below her eloquent footing.
-Reverse: The reverse is stamped with the coin's weight and purity, along with the patriotic design of the National Seal. The US Coat of Arms displays a large eagle containing many symbols such as the olive branches, the sharp arrows, and the large shield. The dreamy stars above the eagle's head represent the original 13 colonies as a head nod to our history.
