Proof Silver Eagles are always a great way for experienced collectors to challenge themselves when investing in silver bullion. Carrying the same obverse and reverse designs as the Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Eagles, the Proof Silver Eagles are more limited in their mintages. The popular proof finish, that makes a coin appear mirror-like, takes some time to produce and can be pretty expensive. Because of those two reasons, the US Mint tries to limit how many they make a year. Low mintages are prime time for collectors, since they result in higher numismatic coins that are more difficult to find. Investing in certified versions of these low mintages beauties ensures collectors the value of the coin they are investing in as well as preserving the coin for a long time.
Your Certified Proof Silver Eagle PF69 1996 has earned the excellent grade of PF69, by the top grading agency in the US, NGC. NGC is known for their fabulous airtight holders that state the grade of the coin for collection purposes.

-Obverse: The obverse design displays a tall and slender Lady Liberty, gracefully walking over the land of the free. She is clothed in a light weight robe that gently flows with every step she takes and her shoulders are draped with the American flag. One arm is outstretched and inviting while the other is carrying a bundle of branches. The obverse is stamped with "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the coin's year of mintage as well.
-Reverse: The reverse carries the national seal of the United States of America, a regal eagle being guarded by a large shield, each talon holding something. The coin's purity and weight are also featured on the reverse for validity purposes.
