Standing at the beginning of a new century, how do you mark such a time in history that is outside of your personal experience? Coin collectors found an easy yet lucrative solution to marking special occasions. Since the Proof Silver Eagles come with a higher premium, collectors and investors enjoy giving them as gifts since they have a more stunning finish than the Brilliant Uncirculated coins. Investing in certified versions also increase the numismatic value of the coin and are presented in outstanding holders from reputable grading companies. In 2000, the Philadelphia Mint only produced just about 600,000 Proof Silver Eagles. The Certified Proof Silver Eagle 2000 PF70 NGC not only offers its investors a low mintage but also the perfect grade of PF70, finishing this coin off as a collectible.
Your Certified Proof Silver Eagle 2000 PF70 NGC has earned the top grade for a proof coin, by the leading grading agency in the country. NGC is admired worldwide for its intensely high grading standards, as well as its sleek and beautiful packaging.

-Obverse: The Lady Liberty walks gracefully across the obverse, with the rising sun encroaching behind her. The Lady's garb is a simple loose-fitting robe with an American flag draped over her narrow shoulders. The words, "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the coin's date of mintage are also stamped on the obverse.
-Reverse: The reverse reveals the US Coat of Arms; an eagle with wings sprawled out containing the banner labeled with "E pluribus unum," across the feathers. A large shield is also protecting the eagle and each of the eagle's talons are holding something symbolic. The right one is holding an olive branch to represent peace while the left one is holding arrows to represent the original 13 colonies. The reverse also bears the coin's weight and purity for validity reasons.
