The 2007 Presidential $1 Coin Uncirculated Set is the first of the series that salutes past presidents of the US. In 2007, the US Mint began the Presidential Dollar series, featuring a president in an honorary portrait. Each president has his name engraved into the coin with their term dates as well. Similar to the Sacagawea Dollar metal content, the Presidential Dollars contain a copper core with a manganese brass coating, lending to the unique golden hue. Nowadays, the Presidential Dollars are sold by the roll, instead of individual coins due to the extremely low premium. The reverse features a proof-like picture of the Statue of Liberty, along with the coin's monetary value of $1. Learning from past experiences, the US Mint decided to keep a tight rope on the Presidential Dollar production and minted limited amounts for each year. The 2007 Presidential $1 Coin Uncirculated Set is rarely seen on the market, since it is the inaugural year for the dollars, and never stays in our inventory for long.
The 2007 Presidential $1 Coin Uncirculated Set features the four Presidential Dollars that were first minted in 2007. These presidents include the legendary George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. Each dollar can be easily popped out if using for a set. Both the Philadelphia and Denver mints are represented on these coins, allowing for an 8-coin set. The 2007 Presidential $1 Coin Uncirculated Set includes a patriotic folder, with a brief biography on each president, next to their dollar. This set begins the larger collection, helping collectors obtain these beauties without having to invest in an entire roll for just one coin. This collection is ideal for beginner collectors, history lovers, or anyone looking to have a fun and easy collection to look forward to.
