When comparing the 1894-S to the 1894-O Morgan silver dollar, for example, there is quite a noticeable difference. The 1894-S is of better quality than the 1894-O, and nicer 1894-S Morgans are more readily available than the New Orleans counterpart, wherein the best you can find is extra fine. Your 1894-S Morgan carries the "S" mint-mark and is in fine condition.
