Among the list of very interesting Morgan silver dollar mishaps is this 1900 O over CC Morgan. Once the Carson City Mint went out of business in 1893, the "left-over" Morgans were sent to the Philadelphia mint. These Morgans originally carried the "CC" mint-mark but were filed off and replaced with the "O" mint-mark. These mistakes, on the Morgans, have only furthered the popularity of them in the coin collecting world. Every serious Morgan silver dollar has the 1900 O over CC on their bucket list and it is a pretty accessible coin to find in a decent grade. Your 1900 O over CC is in extra fine condition, with expected wear on Lady Liberty's ear, cheek, and hairline. The eagle, on the reverse, also shows wear on its feathers. Add this great quality and unique coin to your repertoire today!
