Your 1882-CC silver dollar was minted in Carson City and features that advantageous mint-mark. This mint-mark is what many Morgan collectors look for when trying to complete a collection. Because the Carson City US Mint sector was so small, it could only mint so many coins at once. Any Morgan with the "CC" mint-mark is naturally part of a lower mintage. Apart from Carson City, Morgan silver dollars were minted in other sectors as well. Those minted in Philadelphia do not carry a mint mark, wherein ones minted in New Orleans or San Francisco carry a "S," or "O," mint mark. To this day, the most adored mint-mark is that of Carson City, Nevada. This 1882-CC Morgan is in extra fine condition, containing a good amount of wear around Lady Liberty's facial features.
