The 1892 Morgan Silver dollar is so hard to come by that only one or two are traded yearly. Finding a Morgan, from this year, that is either brilliant uncirculated or almost uncirculated has almost been deemed impossible. Since the mintage for the 1892 Morgan is comparatively lower than other years, only the more circulated coins have been found. It could also be because this same year, Abraham Lincoln's birthday was announced as an official holiday. Your 1892 Morgan was minted in Philadelphia and carries no mint-mark. Your coin is considered to be almost uncirculated and will contain bag marks or surface abrasions. This trait alone is what marks the difference between AU coins and BU coins, since BU coins should not have bag marks and should contain an unbreakable luster across the coin. AU coins have lost most of the original luster but should still be a pretty coin.
