When the Morgan silver dollar was put into circulation, it received mixed feelings by collectors, banks, and numismatists. It wouldn't be until well after the US Mint stopper producing the Morgan, that it would receive the attention it has by collectors. The US Mint also had high hopes for the Eisenhower dollar, just to be disappointed by the lack of popularity once it hit the US banks. The west coast only circulated the Eisenhower, leaving millions untouched and ready for collectors. Replacing silver with a copper-nickel alloy, the Eisenhower dollar doesn't offer collectors much in terms of investment. But nonetheless, the Eisenhower Dollar series is a fun collection to begin for unexperienced collectors. With high mintages, collectors don't have a hard time locating beautifully struck coins for an attractive price. The 1977-D Eisenhower Dollar Roll contains 20 dollar coins, secured in a tubes, and in flawless brilliant uncirculated condition.
