The American Silver Eagle collection was first produced in 1986, as well as the Proof Silver Eagles. Although the lovely matte finish, of the Brilliant Uncirculated eagles, is hard to beat and the unlimited amount minted yearly is easy to obtain, the Proof Silver Eagles are usually overlooked. Since the finishing process, of the proof coins, takes longer and is more expensive, Proof Silver Eagles are sold for a higher bid and also contain very limited mintages. About 860,000 Proof Silver Eagles were minted in 2010, with a healthy chunk sent to be certified.
Your Certified Proof Silver Eagle 2010-W PF70 NGC sparkles, due to its beautiful mirrored proof finish, that is also protected in an official NGC holder, brandishing the impeccable grade of PF70. Your coin displays the "W" mint-mark, which proves it was minted in West Point. Upgrading your silver coin collection to the Proof Silver Eagles is wise. Investing in Proof Silver Eagles, which have earned the perfect grade of PF70, will never disappoint.

-Reverse: The reverse reveals the US Coat of Arms, which consists of an eagle that is being guarded by a shield.
