It has been respected that giving the gift of a silver token is a sign of good fortune for the recipient. From placing a sixpence into a new bride's shoe to a shilling in a newborn's hand, the silver coin has always been a welcome gift to mark a special occasion. Many collectors and investors enjoy having the American Silver Eagle collection for their own but they also invest in them to give as gifts. There isn't a better tradition to begin than the gift of investment in one's future. Even as high as the mintages are, for the Silver Eagles, these coins never stop selling nor should they! At such a tempting rate, the American Silver Eagle series is just hanging from your fingertips!
Your 1991 American Silver Eagle is guaranteed by the US Mint, to weigh one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. Your coin glows with the blinding white finish of a brilliant uncirculated coin but also has a pristine shine as the icing on the cake. If you choose to go the individual route, then your precious coin is carefully packaged into a coin flip for protection in transit.

-Obverse: The Walking Liberty, that is reminiscent of the lady on the popular Walking Liberty half dollars from 1916-1947, graces the obverse of the Silver Eagle. She is delicately draped in the American flag, while bracing a heavy bundle of branches. The obverse also bears the words, "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the date of mintage.
-Reverse: The reverse reveals the US Coat of Arms, also known as the state seal. This seal contains a large eagle, wearing a shield, and holding arrows and branches with its strong talons. The coin's weight and purity is also stamped onto the reverse for extra assurance.
