Although the American Silver Eagle doesn't change its reverse design yearly, the demand for this collection just increases with every passing year. The archaic Lady Liberty, the one ounce of pure silver, and the appealing numismatic value are just a few reasons why investors and collectors are hopping on the American Silver Eagle train. In 1989, 5,203,327 Silver Eagles were minted but the very high mintage of this coin doesn't seem to deter investors away. Instead, the Silver Eagles are becoming more of a challenge to find every year since so many buyers are after the whole collection in its entirety.
Your 1989 American Silver Eagle is flawlessly struck with an impeccable brilliant uncirculated finish that rides the line of a perfect grade coin.

-Obverse: The obverse reveals the delicate protector of liberty and freedom, Lady Liberty. She stands tall in a loose robe that is slightly hugging her feminine figure and her shoulders are gently draped with the American flag. One arm holds a bundle of branches, while the other is outstretched and inviting to all. Her name is etched above her portrait, with the rising sun slowly approaching from behind her. "In God We Trust," is written next to the Walking Liberty and the coin's date of mintage is included below her eloquent footing.
-Reverse: The reverse is stamped with the coin's weight and purity, along with the patriotic design of the National Seal. The US Coat of Arms displays a large eagle containing many symbols such as the olive branches, the sharp arrows, and the large shield. The dreamy stars above the eagle's head represent the original 13 colonies as a head nod to our history.
