Many novice collectors' jaws drop when they see the high premiums for Carson City Mint Morgan silver dollars. There are a few reasons for the cause of these high prices and those high prices are totally worth it. Any Morgan with the "CC" mint-mark is naturally part of a lower mintage. This low mintage was due to the Carson City US Mint sector was being so small, it could only mint so many coins at once. Although Morgans were also minted at other mints, it is the ones stamped with "CC" on the reverse that many collectors are after. Your 1882-CC Morgan silver dollars are part of a low 1.1 million mintage and are in brilliant uncirculated condition. One roll of Morgans consists of 20 coins, packaged in a plastic tube. BU Morgans should have minimal to none when it comes to the wear on the obverse and its original mint luster is fully intact. To protect this luster, make sure to store your Morgans in airtight containers.
