Peace Silver Dollar Very Fine Condition 1922

The first Peace dollar to be minted at all three mints, the 1922 dollar is available in all grades! The year 1922 was also the official first year for the Peace silver dollar, by not having to share the spotlight with the Morgan silver dollar. The Philadelphia Mint, also known as the first mint, produced the Peace dollar every year of its production. Since the Philadelphia Mint was the first mint facility in the US, it was not required to mark its coins, thus leaving all coins minted there without a mint-mark. Your 1922 Peace silver dollar is in very fine condition, exhibiting wear on upper wave of Liberty's hair, and the hair above her ear. On the reverse, the eagle's feathers, talons, and motto are all slightly worn. Since this coin was circulated, there is no longer any mint luster appeal.
