Compared to previous years, the 1926 Peace Silver dollar's mintage is extremely low for this year and mint. The Philadelphia Mint greatly decreased the amount of Peace dollars, it was producing, in 1926; decreases in mintages usually are the result of previous overproduction within that mint. The 1926 Peace dollar is attainable in all grades, but gets a little more difficult to find when looking for a BU version. Since it is the main branch of the US Mint, the Philadelphia Mint usually produced the most silver dollars every year, causing collectors to be more concerned about its condition than general availability. Your 1926 Peace dollar is 90% silver in content and carries no mint-mark. For being a brilliant uncirculated coin, this Peace dollar will still contain its original mint luster and its surface may contain minimum spotting or toning. This vintage silver dollar is waiting to be a part of your elite Peace dollar collection!
