Peace Silver Dollar Almost Uncirculated 1928-S

The prestigious San Francisco Mint produced the last Peace silver dollar, making another collector's favorite for the series. The west coast based mint maintained high quality control during the silver dollars' production, leading to excellently made coins that have sustained through the years. Even in lower grades, the San Francisco Mint's silver dollars contain a bold strike. Many of the 1928-S Peace dollars were preferred more by the Western US and prized over paper currency. Since it was heavily circulated, finding a 1928-S in choice condition is a challenge for many. Your 1928-S Peace silver dollar contains the famous "S" mint-mark and is in almost uncirculated condition. AU silver dollars generally have small amounts of wear, especially around the rim, on Lady Liberty, and the eagle on the reverse. The original mint luster is 3/4's still visible and is protected in a coin flip.
