Silver ducaton recovered from the Dutch East Indiaman 'tVliegent Hart (the Flying Hart), which sank off the coast of Zeeland in the East Indies in 1735. Recovered from the shipwreck were thousands of 8 real cobs, 2,000 gold ducats, and a number of silver ducatoons. They were probably smuggled aboard ship as export of these coins was forbidden. Most of the coins were in mint condition including the piece offered here. Includes COA and pamphlet with extensive historical information.
