When the Morgan was first in production, the US Mint had quite a few kinks to work out. Designing a coin is one task, but seeing what that design actually looks like on the coin is another. The mint made a few aesthetic errors in its first year of production, making the "mistake" Morgans actually highly collectible. The 1878 7tf rev 78 Morgan exhibits an eagle with 7 tail feathers but its chest isn't proportionate to its body. The eagle, on the reverse, exhibits a small, sunken-in chest that isn't a realistic portrayal of the powerful bird the US is so proud of. In 1879, the US Mint corrected the problem and gave the eagle a more robust chest. Your 1878 7tf rev 78 Morgan is a rare gem that holds special value in every collector's heart. Your coin is in very fine condition, exhibiting strong amounts of wear on the whole surface of the coin.
