Description:
Persis was a small kingdom in what is now Southwest Iran. It was considered part of the Parthian Empire, but appeared to be relatively autonomous, with their own kings. The obverse depicts the king with eagle above, the reverse shows a fire temple flanked by two figures and eagle above.
