There are few coin collections that not only catch the roaming eye but also have a reputation of making you want to come back for more. Naturally, the excellent packaging of the Chinese Silver Panda series sets it apart from other collections that do not offer a mint-sealed airtight as part of the package. This not only saves time for the consumer but it also is something that lasts, while protecting the silver coin at the same time. The reverse design of this remarkable series is also an alluring quality, since it changes annually. The 2006 1/2oz Chinese Gold Panda is brilliantly finished with a flawless luster that brings this coin to life.
Pandas are known to roam land, endlessly searching for their much needed bamboo. Pandas need to eat bamboo for up to 16 hours a day so it is obvious just how important bamboo is to the thriving needs of the panda bear species. The reverse design on the 2006 Chinese Silver Panda displays two hungry pandas, ravaging some bamboo shoots. These pandas are sitting straight up, while holding the shoots in their hands. There are also other bamboo trees close by to the pandas, in case they run out. The coin's denomination is scripted above the panda bears' heads.
