Many collectors and investors have made the switch from raw silver eagles to certified. One reason being the plastic holders that graded coins come in are easier to store than raw coins. There are boxes made especially to store the plastic slabs and by having a coin in the slab, there is no room for air to creep in and tarnish the coin. When a raw coin is sent to a reputable grading company, a BU coin can receive anywhere from a mint-state 60 grade to a mint-state 70. The 2019 MS69 Silver Eagle received the grade of mint-state 69 and is in excellent condition.
The obverse design was inspired by Adolph A. Weinman's famous design on the Walking Liberty half dollar from 1916-1947. The Walking Liberty design was chosen, due to its popularity by being the most popular image on a US coin in coinage history. This coin is what collectors call a "brown label," a certified coin without special features, such as Early Release or minted in San Francisco. Make the certified silver eagles a part of your special repertoire today!

-Obverse: This iconic image graces the obverse of every American Silver Eagle; Lady Liberty is delicately draped in a loose fitting dress as she holds dearly some branches in her arm and the US flag over her shoulders. "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the date of mintage are stamped on the obverse as well.
-Reverse: The reverse reveals the US Seal: a large eagle with outstretched wings and large shield covering its chest. Eagles have always been representative of power and authority and many nations have used the bird to signify such.
