-Obverse: The Lady Liberty is featured on the obverse of every American Silver Eagle. The American flag is discreetly draped over her boney shoulders, as one arm holds a bundle of branches, the other is outstretched and inviting. In a large font, above her covered head, is the word, "Liberty." The rising sun is coming up slowly behind her to offer hope with a new day. "In God We Trust," is written right next to her.
-Reverse: The reverse design includes the patriotic US Coat of Arms, which consists of a lone eagle with its wings open and ready to fly. Each talon is holding something symbolic; the right is holding olive branches and the other is holding arrows. The coin's purity and authenticity is also marked on the reverse for extra assurance.
