Many collectors have upgraded their American Silver Eagle collection to officially certified versions that carry higher numismatic value. When a coin is freshly minted, a batch is sent to an outstanding grading agency, such as PCGS, and is assigned a grade. For newly minted coins, the highest grade a coin can receive is a MS70 or PF70. Since the Proof Silver Eagles are already at a higher premium, due to their expensive finish and lower mintages, owning a certified Proof Silver Eagle is tough to beat in terms of wise investing.
Your Certified Proof Silver Eagle 2013-W PR70DCAM PCGS shines brilliantly with the flawless finish of nothing less than a perfectly struck proof coin. Your coin is snuggly preserved in an official PCGS holder, with both sides of the coin visible through the holder.

-PCGS certified coin holder
-Obverse: The obverse highlights the Walking Liberty design that reigned on circulating half dollars between 1916-1947. Lady Liberty contains a tall and slender figure while draped in a see through robe. One arm carries branches while the other is reaching out in invitation. The lady is accompanied by the words, "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the coin's date of mintage.
-Reverse: The reverse of the silver eagle showcases a proud eagle, protected by a large shield. The eagle's wings are outstretched with the famous Latin phrase, "E pluribus unum," written across a banner. Each of the eagle's talons are grasping onto something: the left holds arrows and the right holds an olive branch. Above the eagle's head, 13 stars remain to symbolize the original 13 colonies that started the United States of America. The coin's weight and purity are neatly stamped around the national seal for validity purposes.
