The 1926 Peace dollar is attainable in all grades, but gets a little more difficult to find when looking for a BU version. The Certified Peace Silver Dollar 1926 MS64 PCGS is a BU coin that has been issued a grade by PCGS, world renown grading agency. Compared to previous years, the 1926 Peace Silver dollar's mintage is extremely low for this year and mint. The Philadelphia Mint greatly decreased the amount of Peace dollars, it was producing, in 1926; decreases in mintages usually are the result of previous overproduction within that mint. Since it is the main branch of the US Mint, the Philadelphia Mint usually produced the most silver dollars every year, causing collectors to be more concerned about its condition than general availability.
