The Certified Peace Silver Dollar 1923-D MS63 PCGS has earned a grade on the BU grading scale and comes encased in an official PCGS holder. There were only three mints that participated in the minting of the Peace silver dollar. The Denver Mint was new when it first participated in the minting of the Peace silver dollar. It was first established in 1908 and mainly minted speciality coins, such as commemoratives but would be called upon if the other mint branches needed production help. The Denver Mint did not produce a Peace dollar every year but only minted the dollar 5 times in its 7 years of production. Since Peace dollars carrying the "D" mint-mark are scarcer, it is harder to find them in higher conditions.
