There are two grading companies, in the US, that are the most accurate and recognized out of all the grading companies: NGC and PCGS. Whenever a coin returns from these two places, a feeling of assurance and satisfaction is impossible to avoid. Not only are these grading companies known worldwide but they are the preferred grading company for many collectors, dealers, and mints. Burnished Silver Eagles are in brilliant uncirculated condition and are only minted by the West Point Mint. The West Point Mint only makes some of the Proof Silver Eagles so these Burnished gems are a rare treat!
Your Burnished 2008-W Silver Eagle MS69 NGC has been graded by one of the top grading agencies in the US and has earned the high grade of MS69. The holder also contains the label that states your coin earned the MS69 grade. The design, of the silver eagle, was inspired by the Walking Liberty half-dollar that was common currency from 1917-1947. This design received so much acclaim, the US Mint decided to revive it for their first silver bullion collection. Adolph A. Weinman is the German/American sculptor responsible for the beautiful Walking Liberty design.

-Obverse: On the obverse of the silver eagle, Lady Liberty is gently clothed in a robe with the American flag cloaked around her broad shoulders. The lady walks without any care, extending her right arm to offer an open invitation. The obverse is stamped with the words, "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the date of mintage.
-Reverse: The reverse reveals a patriotic symbol, an eagle clothed in a shield with its talons clenching onto olive branches and arrows. The olive branches represent peace as the 13 arrows symbolize the original 13 colonies. The coin's purity and weight are also marked on the coin for extra assurance.
