Being a long-time symbol of freedom and hope, Lady Liberty represents everything this nation has fought for and continues to fight for. Usually, Lady Liberty is depicted as a tall and slender woman who resembles a Greek goddess. Liberty's history dates back to Greek mythology, wherein she was a goddess among the warrior and is the reason why she is always portrayed as a Grecian goddess.

This West Coast-based mint helped produce some of the most popular coin collections in history, including the Barber Half Dollars. The 1915-S Barber Half Dollar features the famous Grecian goddess, Liberty, and the heraldic eagle, which is the national seal of the US.
