-Obverse: Queen Elizabeth II is portrayed on the obverse, poised sideways and wearing her beloved crown. The coin carries the monetary value of 1 dollar, which is also displayed on the obverse.
-Reverse: A very well detailed kookaburra is captured on the reverse side of the 2015 silver coin. The lone bird sits proudly perched on a rugged tree stump, back facing first. The leaves of a eucalyptus tree are surrounding the kookaburra, to indicate where the species thrive. The reverse also bears the title of the coin series, date of mintage, and the purity/weight of the coin itself. The Goat Privy Mark is located next to the Kookaburra design.
