The 2015-D Bombay Hook (DE) Uncirculated Quarter highlights a famous wildlife refuge. The Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge is located on the Delaware Bay and contains almost 16,000 acres of National Wildlife Refuge. The main habitants, of this refuge, are migratory birds including the bald eagle. Heavy numbers of ducks and geese spend time there as they migrate South for the Winter or when they are coming back North. It is recorded that over 350 species visit the refuge, not including the occasional accidental visitors that stumble upon the refuge. Cottontail rabbit, woodchuck, red fox, and white tailed deer are the more frequent mammal visitors of the refuge.
