The American Silver Eagle becomes more and more popular with every passing year. More people are learning about the positives of investing in these precious metals gems, taking their investment goals to a higher level. When first looking at a Silver Eagle, there really isn't anything special about it. It contains the same design every year, it has one ounce of silver, and it is in a predictable brilliant uncirculated finish. But what you might not notice is the history that is covering the coin from front to back. The design was inspired by the Walking Liberty half-dollar that was common currency from 1917-1947. This design received so much acclaim, the US Mint decided to revive it for their first silver bullion collection.
Your 2013 American Silver Eagle Roll accommodates 20 Silver Eagle coins, each weighs approximately one troy ounce of pure .999 silver and comes packaged in a secure mint tube. Each coin displays a delicate sheen that is standard for excellently minted brilliant uncirculated coins.

-Obverse: The obverse portrays a tall Lady Liberty, carrying an armful of branches as her other arm is gracefully extended. The sun rises in the background to offer hope with a new day. The obverse is also stamped with the words, "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the year of mintage.
-Reverse: The reverse contains the US seal, which is of a large eagle with several different representations. Both of the eagle's talons are holding onto something; the left contains olive branches to represent peach and the other talon is holding arrows to represent warrior. The eagle is covered by a huge shield that indicates that the US will protect its power and "E Pluribus Unum" is written across the eagle's outstretched wings. The coin's weight and purity is also stamped on the reverse for authentication purposes.
