The American Silver Eagle series is versatile when it comes to investing and gift-giving. The American Silver Eagle displays much of the history of the US and is the perfect way to mark a special occasion for loved ones. The US Coat of Arms, the Walking Liberty, and the 13 stars to symbolize the original 13 colonies are just a few reasons why the American Silver Eagle isn't just about the silver but the history that comes along with it. Similar to the US, most countries have their own silver dollar that is marked with that country's insignia, historical etchings, and whatever else that is important to that nation.
Your 2008 American Silver Eagle Roll contains 20 coins that glimmer with a "freshly struck" patina that has literally stood the test of time. Since your coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition, there should be no scratch marks on the face of the coin, and each coin is snuggly stacked on top of another, making it impossible for them to scratch each other.

-Obverse: The obverse design was inspired by Adolph A. Weinman's famous design on the Walking Liberty half dollar from 1916-1947. The Walking Liberty design was chosen, due to its popularity by being the most popular image on a US coin in coinage history. This iconic image graces the obverse of every American Silver Eagle; Lady Liberty is delicately draped in a loose fitting dress as she holds dearly some branches in her arm and the US flag over her shoulders. "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the date of mintage are stamped on the obverse as well.
-Reverse: The reverse reveals the US Seal: a large eagle with outstretched wings, talons holding branches and arrows, and a shield to protect its chest.
