When the Founding Fathers established the first US Mint, a Mint Act was also established with requirements for US currency. One of the major requirements was to include an emblematic symbol of liberty on every coin. What that led to was the iconic Lady Liberty design that has been adapted by so many artists along the way. The prestigious American Silver Eagle series began its journey as a coin collection in 1986 and has kept coin collectors and investors coming back ever since. The Lady Liberty graces every silver eagle to honor all of the sacrifices our military has made to continue to make the US the land of the brave. The US Coat of Arms is also featured on every silver eagle to represent America's desire for peace but also its strength when war arises. The 13 stars above the Coat of Arms represents the original 13 colonies. There is much history included in US currency and bullion coins to enjoy!
Your 2001 American Silver Eagle Roll contains 20 Silver Eagles that weigh one solid ounce of pure .999 silver and are in flawless brilliant uncirculated condition.

-Obverse: The Lady Liberty, located on the obverse of the silver eagle, resembles a Grecian goddess. She is lightly clothed in a loose robe that gently blows against the wind. The American flag is delicately draped over her boney shoulders as both arms are occupied. One arm is extended, as if it’s inviting you to come along, and her second arm is holding a bundle of branches. There is a rising sun behind the Liberty that shines gloriously over the land. The words, "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the coin's date of mintage are also stamped onto the obverse.
-Reverse: The reverse displays a large eagle, protected by a shield, and holding items in both of his talons.
