The Silver Peregrine Falcon is the first coin to be released in the Royal Canadian Mint’s new Birds of Prey series. The Canadian Silver Peregrine Falcon is the first of the two coins that will be released in 2014. The Peregrine Falcon is limited to 1,000,000 coins and contains one ounce of .999 fine silver. The 2014 1 oz Canadian Silver Peregrine Falcon features a design created by artist Emily Damstra. The Peregrine Falcon is renowned for its speed, and is considered the fastest member of the animal kingdom.
