The Corinthian helmet graces her head, she is ready for battle at any given moment. The reverse also bears the inscription, "one ounce fine silver," and "2014."As an effigy, Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the obverse of this silver Britannia. The famous side portrait that has been used for many coins is perfected on the silver Britannia. The Queen is accompanied by the coin's legal tender, "2 pounds," and a Latin saying, ""Red Fid Def." It is appropriate that the Queen and Britannia share a coin together since both are honored as Defenders of Britain.
